FAQs
Wix Redesign questions
How long does a Wix redesign take?
Most redesigns take four to six weeks from your onboarding call to launch, depending on how many pages you have. You'll click through a live preview of the whole new site before anything goes live.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if it's done properly. We record every existing URL, keep the content that's ranking, and set up 301 redirects for anything that moves, so Google and your visitors land in the right place.
Can you keep my existing content?
Yes. We keep what's working and improve what isn't. If your copy needs a bigger rewrite, we can do that too.
Do I need to move to Wix Studio?
Not always. Most redesigns are built in Wix Studio because it's faster and gives us more control over mobile layouts, but if you're happy in Wix Editor and it suits the site, we can redesign it there. We'll talk you through the choice.
Will I still be able to edit the site myself?
Yes. We build it so the parts you update often are simple to change, and we give you a walkthrough at launch.
What if I only need a few changes?
Then you probably don't need a full redesign. Our Wix Fix service handles smaller updates at £75 + VAT an hour, and we'll tell you if that's the better option.
