The brief
A hacked WordPress site and a failing ads account
Regain Hearing, a hearing clinic group based in Maidstone, Kent, found us by searching on Google. They came to us with a failing Google Ads account, but that wasn't the only problem. Their SEO was actually doing well, yet their WordPress site had been hacked and was displaying Russian and Ukrainian casino pages, quietly damaging the strong domain authority they'd built up over years. Their previous agency was also slow to add new technology and make updates, which held the business back. They needed a secure platform, protected rankings and a marketing partner that could keep up.
The build
A secure Wix Studio migration that kept the rankings
We migrated Regain Hearing from the compromised WordPress site to Wix Studio, ending the casino page problem for good. We kept the on-page text intact during the move so their hard-won SEO rankings held firm, then refreshed the design and made careful changes over time so the site ranks even more effectively. We improved the booking flow with age-based routing and alternative location prompts, so patients reach the right appointment type and clinic. How we moved Regain Hearing to Wix Studio safely
Migrated without losing rankings
We rebuilt the site in Wix Studio while keeping the on-page text intact, so the hard-won SEO rankings held firm. We then refreshed the design and made careful adaptations so the site ranks even more effectively.
Ended the hack for good
We moved Regain Hearing off the compromised WordPress site entirely, removing the Russian and Ukrainian casino pages and protecting the domain authority built up over years of SEO work.
Improved the booking flow

The outcome
Regain Hearing now has a secure Wix Studio website with its SEO rankings protected through the migration, a smarter booking flow and a marketing team keeping pace with the business across its clinics.
