The brief
A new look that deserved a new website
Thai Orchid's owner brings her roots in Thailand to a growing group of restaurants across Kent, with sites in Whitstable, Maidstone and Canterbury. When the restaurant moved into The Riverside in Canterbury it rebranded as Thai Orchid Canterbury, with a much more modern identity than before. The brand needed a website that felt as fresh as the new look, and the business needed a partner rather than an internal team: somewhere to come for every update and change, now and in the future, without having to manage the site themselves.

The new brand, brought to life online
A website that matches the rebrand
Deep navy, cobalt and cream, rounded lowercase type and plates of real food cut into flowing shapes, so the site feels as modern and confident as the new identity.
Food first, from the first scroll
The homepage opens with the food, then a scrolling run of signature dishes like Khao Na Phed and Stir Fried Holy Basil, so visitors know what they're craving before they reach the menu.
Everyday deals, easy to find
Lunch and brunch deals sit front and centre, with clear prices and a quick route to each menu.
Booking and ordering a tap away
Book a table, order for collection or get it delivered from every page, with opening hours and directions to The Riverside close at hand.
One team for every change
Built on Wix Headless, with The Wix Guys handling every edit and update, so the restaurant gets a modern site without needing its own web team.

The outcome
