I'm Joe Bennett, Co-Founder and Managing Director at The Wix Guys. That's basically a fancy way of saying I make everything work efficiently throughout the business, while also making sure we are putting out stunning websites and keeping our customers happy. I've run several digital marketing agencies throughout my marketing career and have spent those years learning the nuances of what makes a success agency. Although I was born in Kent, I've recently moved up to the Lake District and support the northern office.
EXPERIENCE &
BACKGROUND
One of my first jobs was marketing for a nightclub and now 14 years later, I'm still in marketing. The last 8 of those years have involved me running my own agencies.
The first of those agencies was a web design agency that only did Wix websites and now it's gone full circle and I'm back here again!Outside of actually that active experience, I'm a sucker for knowledge. I've lost count of how many marketing and business books I've read and how many podcasts I've listened to. Marketing is a fast moving industry, so if you're not forever learning you just get left behind.
I've also got a degree in Psychology, specialising in Organisational Psychology in my final year.
