The brief
Great reviews, but a site that undersold them
Fresh Food Events is an events catering business based in North Wales, providing catering for weddings and corporate events. The business was going through a change of ownership, and the incoming owners wanted to lift the look and feel of the website. They were already winning great reviews and bookings, but the existing Wix Editor site did not portray the level of service they provide, and the navigation had become cluttered. They came to us to move from Wix Editor to Wix Studio and improve both the quality and quantity of enquiries coming through.
The build
A modern catering website the team can run
We migrated Fresh Food Events from Wix Editor to Wix Studio and redesigned the site to bring the brand up to date. We tidied the navigation so couples and corporate clients can find weddings, menus and enquiry routes quickly. Behind the scenes, we built CMS-driven workflows so the team can manage weddings and menus day to day, and set up automations and forms to handle enquiries. A catering website that finally matches the service
Moved them from Editor to Studio
We migrated the site from Wix Editor to Wix Studio and modernised the design for the new owners, so the website finally reflects the standard of the weddings and corporate events Fresh Food Events deliver.
Tidied up the navigation
The old menu had become hard to follow. We restructured the navigation so visitors can get to weddings, corporate catering, menus and contact details in a couple of clicks, on desktop and mobile.
Built CMS workflows for weddings and menus
We set up CMS-driven workflows so the team can manage weddings and menus with ease. Underused sections, like menu requests, were rebuilt with forms and automations designed to turn interest into real enquiries.
Set up SEO and an Instagram feed
We put on-page SEO foundations in place to help couples and businesses find them when searching for event catering in North Wales, and added an Instagram feed so new event photos appear on the site automatically.
The outcome
Fresh Food Events now has a Wix Studio site that properly reflects the quality of their catering. The new owners have tidier navigation, CMS workflows they can run day to day, and enquiry forms built to convert.
