The brief
A new partnership that needed to look launched
Puffin Biz came to us through networking and an existing relationship. We had previously worked with Kenward Place, and its CEO, Penny Williams, was starting a new company alongside her business associate and friend Jacquie, based in Maidstone, Kent. The two were launching the venture as a 50/50 partnership. A new business has to show people it is real, and quickly, so they needed a website that cemented Puffin Biz as properly up and running. They also wanted it to show them off as the warm, personable pair they are, rather than a faceless company.
The build
A simple brochure site with real personality
We built Puffin Biz a straightforward Wix Studio brochure website with personal branding at its core. The design is deliberately simple and clean, letting Penny and Jacquie's personalities come through in the copy and imagery rather than hiding behind corporate language. Clear forms make it easy for new contacts to get in touch, the Wix CMS sits behind the content, and on-page SEO basics are in place from launch.
