The brief
The right content in the wrong voice
Cache4 IT Solutions provide IT support, Microsoft 365, AI solutions and cyber security to small businesses around Carlisle, Cumbria. Their existing site had good content and real testimonials, but it spoke in a corporate voice that did not suit the people they wanted to win: solo operators and teams of one to five who know they need IT support but feel overwhelmed by the subject. The site also carried legacy pages for services they no longer focused on. They needed a website for an IT support company that sounded like a trusted friend and turned visitors into booked discovery calls.
The build
Plain English and a call one click away
We rebuilt Cache4 in Wix Studio around one job: booking discovery calls. The homepage opens on the customer's problem, "Tech stress stopping you from focusing on your business?", then moves through problem and solution, a three-service snapshot, social proof and a Why Cache4 section. We rewrote the tone of voice throughout so it reads like a helpful local expert rather than a faceless tech company. A Book a Discovery Call button sits on every service page, and a Calendly widget handles the booking. As a Carlisle agency ourselves, this is exactly the kind of web design in Carlisle we love doing.

A rebuild that starts with the problem, not the product
Three service pages, each selling one thing
Microsoft 365 Essentials, AI Solutions and Cyber Security each got a page under a What We Do dropdown, written without jargon and closing with a discovery call CTA. Old Computer Shop, VoIP, Computer Networks and Video Library pages were archived.
A CMS events system they run themselves
We built a Wix CMS Events collection with dates, locations, descriptions, images, status and registration links. It feeds a filterable listing, auto-generated event pages and an Upcoming Events spotlight on the homepage, with Wix Events handling bookings.
Booking, support and tracking wired in
A Calendly discovery-call widget, a site-wide Go High Level chat widget and Support Portal and Remote Support buttons for existing clients. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are connected, with a UK GDPR cookie banner and WCAG 2.1 AA basics.
Local SEO for IT support in Carlisle
We targeted IT support for small businesses, IT support Carlisle and cyber security for small businesses, with a unique H1 and meta description on every service page, alt text across the site and the blog restructured into four categories.
The outcome
Cache4 now have a website that speaks to the small businesses they actually want to work with, not the ones they used to chase. Visitors get three clear service routes in plain English, the team runs its own events from the CMS, and a discovery call is never more than one click away. The site is set up to be found locally for IT support searches around Carlisle.
