The brief
Online orders without the double handling
Wigmore Pizza is a pizza restaurant based in Wigmore, Kent, serving the local community with fresh pizza for collection, delivery and dine-in. On a busy Friday night, nobody has time to copy online orders into the till by hand. They needed a restaurant website that let customers order food online, with those orders flowing straight into their EPOS system. Alongside that, the menu had to be clear and easy to browse on a phone, because that is where most people decide what to order. And the site needed to be found by locals searching for pizza nearby.
The build
Built around ordering, on any device
We designed Wigmore Pizza a mobile-friendly Wix Editor website built around one thing: getting customers from browsing to ordering quickly. We integrated their external online ordering system directly with their EPOS, so orders placed on the site go straight through to the till with no manual re-entry. The menu sits front and centre and is easy to scan on any screen, with clear routes to order or get in touch. We also set up on-page SEO for local pizza searches. It is a good example of our restaurant and café website design work.

Built a mobile-friendly ordering site
We designed Wigmore Pizza a modern Wix Editor site focused on getting customers from browsing to ordering quickly, whether they are on a phone, tablet or desktop.
Integrated online ordering with the EPOS
We connected their online ordering system directly to their EPOS, so orders placed on the site flow straight through to the till. No retyping, and fewer chances of a mistake during a busy service.
Put the menu front and centre
We laid out the pizza menu so it is easy to browse and order from, with clear sections and calls to action, so hungry customers are never hunting for the order button.
Set up local SEO
We put on-page SEO foundations in place so the site is set up to be found by people searching for pizza delivery and takeaway in Wigmore and the surrounding Kent villages.
