The brief
A private chef referred by a fellow Maidstone client
Bear & Mind Chefs is a catering and private chef business in Maidstone, Kent, run by Ian, who also hosts cooking masterclasses. Ian found us through his connection to PEK Maidstone, whose website we had recently rebuilt. He already had a Wix Editor site, but it needed a new name, a more professional finish and features that suited the way he works with clients. He wanted customers to be able to message him easily, see nutrition information for his food and access a private area. He did not need a brand-new site, he needed his existing one sorted properly.
The build
A Wix Fix that rebranded and reconnected the site
Rather than start from scratch, we took Bear & Mind Chefs on as a Wix Fix on their existing Wix Editor site. We rebranded the site to Bear & Mind Chefs and added the functionality Ian needed. WhatsApp integration lets customers message him directly. Custom code embeds bring in Nutritics nutrition information for his dishes. A members area gives private clients their own space. GDPR-compliant forms handle enquiries, and 301 redirects make sure old links still land in the right place after the rebrand. If your site needs work rather than a rebuild, Wix Fix is often the quickest, most cost-effective route.

Rebranded, connected and ready for private clients
Rebranded the existing Wix Editor site
We updated the site to the Bear & Mind Chefs name and brand as a Wix Fix, keeping what worked on Ian's existing Wix Editor site rather than charging for a rebuild he did not need.
Integrated WhatsApp for quick contact
We added WhatsApp integration so customers can message Ian directly from the site. For a private chef and catering business, a fast, informal way to ask a question makes booking far easier.
Embedded Nutritics nutrition information
We used custom code embeds to bring Nutritics nutrition information into the site, so clients can see what is in the food. It is a detail that matters for catering customers and a sign of a professional operation.
Added a members area and GDPR forms
We built a members area as a private client space and set up GDPR-compliant forms for enquiries, with 301 redirects in place so the rebrand did not break existing links or search visibility.

Ian told us the team was clear, helpful and did exactly what he wanted.
