The brief
A luxury brand that needed more than a checkout
Pepita Watch is a luxury Swiss watch brand. The project came to us through a Wix designer in Switzerland who specialised in Wix Editor. He had seen our tag on another site we built and, running short on time, brought us in as the external builder. A standard online shop was never going to suit Pepita. Their watches are high value, and buyers of luxury pieces expect a conversation before they commit. So instead of a simple buy-now checkout, Pepita wanted every customer to go through a consultation-first process before purchasing, delivered in both English and French for an international audience.
The build
A store built for high-value purchases
We built Pepita Watch a custom store on Wix Editor, working alongside the Swiss designer who led the design. At the time, Wix did not offer this kind of CMS-driven store natively, so we engineered it ourselves using Wix CMS. The buying journey puts a consultation before the purchase, so customers engage with the brand first rather than checking out on impulse. The site runs in English and French, with a members area, forms and payments, a blog and SEO foundations. It shows how far a Wix store can be pushed when the brief does not fit a template, which is the heart of our ecommerce website design work.

A Wix Editor designer in Switzerland spotted our tag on another site we built. With time running short, he brought us in as the external builder to help deliver the Pepita Watch project.

CMS store ahead of Wix
When we built Pepita's store, Wix did not offer CMS store functionality natively. We engineered it ourselves on Wix Editor, giving the brand the custom buying journey it needed.

We built the site with multilingual support in English and French, matching the international reach of a Swiss luxury brand, alongside a members area, blog and secure forms and payments.

The outcome
Pepita Watch now has a bilingual Wix Editor site with a consultation-first store, giving this luxury Swiss watch brand a buying journey that suits high-value purchases rather than a generic checkout.
