The brief
An acting coach who wanted a site she could own
OnCue is an acting coaching business in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, run by two owners. One of them is the partner of a freelancer who used to help us with our social media content, so the introduction came through someone we already knew and trusted. They needed a website to launch and grow the coaching business. Just as importantly, they wanted to feel confident improving the site themselves over time, rather than relying on an agency for every change. They wanted a platform they could genuinely grow with, not just a finished website handed over and left.
The build
A Wix Studio site the owners could run themselves
We built OnCue's website in Wix Studio, a platform the owners already knew, so they could manage it confidently from day one. The site uses a CMS for content they update regularly, with enquiry forms and SEO foundations in place. Alongside the build, we set up their Google Business Profile so they could be found locally in Tunbridge Wells, and gave them coaching on Google Ads to get enquiries moving from the start. We then handed the site over with training, so the owners could keep improving it as budgets allowed. Read more about our tutor and coaching website design.

Built, handed over and grown by the owners
Built on a platform they knew
We built OnCue in Wix Studio because the owners already knew how to use it. That meant they could manage the site confidently from day one, instead of waiting on us for every small change.
Set up Google Business Profile
We set up OnCue's Google Business Profile so the acting coaching business could appear in local search and on Google Maps for people looking for acting lessons in Tunbridge Wells.
Coached them on Google Ads
We gave the owners coaching on Google Ads, so they understood how to run their own campaigns and could start driving enquiries to the new site straight away.
Trained them to grow the site
We handed over with training so the owners could keep building. They have since added a video highlight-reel hero to the homepage and made their own improvements as budgets allowed.

The outcome
OnCue launched on a Wix Studio site the owners feel confident managing themselves, backed by Google Business Profile and their own Google Ads. They have since added a video highlight-reel hero and made further improvements on their own, which is exactly how we like it to work: a self-sufficient client growing a great site into an even better one.
