The brief
A side hustle turned into a travel agency
Hythe & Seek Travel is a travel agency in Hythe, Kent, specialising in cruise holidays for families. We were introduced to the team through BITA, the British and Irish Trade Association. They first spoke to us about a different business, then had a complete change of heart. They decided to go all in on their travel agency side hustle and bought a premises in Hythe. That meant they needed a website to launch the agency properly: one that spoke to families, played to their cruise specialism and turned visitors into customers booking their next holiday.
The build
A video-led site that sells the holiday
We built Hythe & Seek Travel a Wix Editor website led by a full-width video hero. We sourced the stock footage ourselves, so the first thing a visitor sees is the feeling of a family holiday at sea rather than a block of text. The site speaks directly to families and puts the cruise specialism up front. An introduction that evolved
We met the Hythe & Seek team through BITA. They originally came to us about a different business, then changed direction to launch their travel agency, so we shaped the brief around the new business from scratch.
Sourced footage for a video hero
Travel is sold on feeling. We sourced stock footage and built a video hero that shows families what a cruise holiday looks like the moment the homepage loads, setting the tone for the whole site.
Spoke to families and cruises
We wrote and structured the site around families and the agency's cruise specialism, the trips their target customers were already searching for, so the right visitors recognise straight away that this agency is for them.
Built for enquiries and payments
We added clear enquiry routes, forms and payments so visitors from Hythe and across Kent can ask about a cruise or holiday easily, and set up on-page SEO for a newly launched business.
