The brief
A new travel consultancy that needed to look the part
AC Escapes is a brand-new travel consultancy in Carlisle, Cumbria, and as it happens, they share our offices at The Guild. They came to us needing a professional website to launch the business. The brief was clear: show off some of the destinations they sell, stay true to a feminine, luxury brand, and start bringing in holiday and travel enquiries from the first day of trading. As a new name in a crowded market, they had no track record online yet, so the website had to do the heavy lifting on first impressions and make AC Escapes feel established from launch.

We built AC Escapes a Wix Studio website for a travel consultancy, designed around their feminine, luxury branding from the colour palette to the imagery. Destinations sit in a CMS, so the team can add new trips and showcase them without touching the layout. Every page leads towards an enquiry, with clear forms that make it easy for someone dreaming about a holiday to take the next step. We also put SEO foundations in place so the site can be found by people searching for a travel consultant in Carlisle and further afield. Designed around a luxury, feminine brand
We carried AC Escapes' feminine, luxury look through every page, so the site feels aspirational and personal rather than like another generic holiday template. The design does the job of a brochure for a brand that was brand new.
Built a CMS destination showcase
Destinations live in a Wix CMS collection, so the team can add new places and trips themselves. Each destination is presented to make visitors want to go, then points them towards getting in touch.
Made enquiring simple
We added clear enquiry forms and routes throughout the site, so anyone browsing destinations can ask about a trip in a couple of clicks. For a new consultancy, every enquiry counts from day one.
Set up SEO foundations
We put on-page SEO in place across the site, with sensible page titles, descriptions and structure, so AC Escapes has a solid base to be found by people looking for a travel consultant in Carlisle and Cumbria.
