The brief
A club that needed to manage its own content
Gravesham FC is a community football club based in Gravesend, Kent. Like most clubs, it is run by people with plenty on their plate, and the website has to keep up with a busy season without becoming another job. The club needed a website that brought fixtures, results and club news together in one place, and that the club could update itself every week without waiting on a web designer. It also had to work properly on a phone, because that is where supporters, players and parents check scores and kick-off times on matchday.
The build
A mobile-friendly site for matchday
We built Gravesham FC a clean, energetic website in Wix Studio, designed mobile-first for fans checking in on matchday. The centrepiece is a password-protected results area built on Wix CMS, so the club can add fixtures and scores themselves through the season without touching the design or needing our help. Club news has its own clear space, giving supporters one place to check for updates. Contact forms make it easy for new players, parents and sponsors to get in touch, and on-page SEO foundations help the club show up when people search for football in Gravesend. Clubs and community groups can see our Wix website packages for options.
