Sikh Matrimonial Website

Sikh Matrimonial is a community introduction service run entirely by volunteers at Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend. It is not a dating app. Every member is verified, every profile is approved by hand, and contact details are only shared when both people agree.

The Gurdwara needed a website that could do all of that online: take detailed registrations, let volunteers review and approve members, let approved members browse each other privately, and handle introductions with the same care the service has always shown.

We built a Wix Studio site with a full members' area behind it. New members register through a multi-step form with email confirmation. Every profile lands in a back office where volunteers approve, reject, suspend or request more information, and only approved members can browse profiles. Members request introductions, and contact details are shared automatically only when a request is accepted, with email notifications at every step.

We tested the platform with the Gurdwara's own team before launch, trained the volunteers on the back office, and set up back-office access for the service's team heads. On launch day, 27 August 2026, the site had 242 visits. In the first five weeks it welcomed 1,932 unique visitors and received 312 form submissions.
